BRAISED ROMAINE AND WHITE BEANS

INGREDIENTS/ 1 CUP CHICKEN STOCK 3 CLOVES GARLIC SLICED THIN, 1 # ROMAINE LEAVES, 1/4, TSP SALT, 1/4 TSP WHITE PEPPER, 8 OZ WHITE BEANS, 1 1/2  CUP TOMATOES CONCASSE ( OPTIONAL ) . REMOVE RIBS FROM ROMAINE. BRING CHICKEN STOCK AND GARLIC,TO SIMMER, COOK UNTIL GARLIC IS TENDER. ADD ROMAINE , SALT AND PEPPER. COOK 4 MINUTES. ADD BEANS AND TOMATOES, COOK 2 MINUTES. SERVE HOT. FOOTNOTE, COOK WHITE BEANS AHEAD OF TIME.
